How to sign up - Developer Portal

The Developer Portal allows a user to subscribe to, and try out, APIs maintained by the Waikato Regional Council.

Each subscriber requires a user account and needs to be verified before accessing data from Waikato Regional Council. Please use the following steps to request a developer portal login:

1. Send an email to apinotificationsprod@waikatoregion.govt.nz with the following details:

   • Company Name

   • Company Contact (Full Name)

   • Email Address

   • Contact Phone Number

   • Short paragraph detailing the need for a developer portal account

2. Once we receive your email, we will review the request and may be in touch to clarify any details.

3. If your request is approved you'll receive a notification that your developer portal account has been created, along with instructions to log in.
